In my opinion, it means your crush has been speaking about you to them. ALthough, maybe your crush is trying to win your heart especially through his friends being nice to you. What girl doesn't want to be accepted by his crushes friends? And that also makes it more convenient for him and you because like that he won't have to leave his friends and feel uncomfortable .
