Most likely, yes. The longer you leave it in, the less chance of it closing but even if you have a bellybutton ring for 10 years and leave it in the whole time, then decide to take it out it will eventually close up, it will just take longer to do so. Your body views the hole as a wound. If you take it out for a few hours, clean it and the ring then put it back in you should be fine. A little longer than that (depending on how long you've had it) and you may need to re-poke the hole.
Taking it in and out just invites infection anyway.
No your belly button heals really fast and it will close. u can take it out but ur going to have to jam the ring back in and it will hurt. why would u want to take it out anyways?
No it will not close up. It will take a couple of days before it completely heals up and then you would need to get it re-pierced. It should be fine for a few more hours until you can get another one but its best to get one within 24 hours of losing the ring.
No. If the skin has been getting thinner, it's probably rejecting. Go see your piercer asap to verify it before you take it out.
"Heals" is a verb. "Heels" can be a verb (what a dog does when he stays close to you when walking) or a noun (part of your feet.)

No, you should avoid smoking, drinking (alcohol), or kissing before your lip heals.

It is the place where the umbilical cord connects the baby to the placenta. After the baby is born, the umbilical is cut off, eventually heals over and leaves the belly button.
No way to tell. Depends oh how old it is and how your body heals.
Yes they can. It depends on how long you've had it, what size (gauge) it is, and just how your body heals.
it breaks. then you put a cast on and it heals.
