Your joints (hip, knee, feet) has to work harder. Breathing becomes heavier. Moving around becomes more tiresome. You increase the risk of getting diabetic. You may develop high blood pressure, which makes other heart conditions more probable.

If you're a woman, it may make it more difficult to get pregnant.
When you become overweight, you have a higher risk for a ton of health problems (type 2 Diabetes, sleep apnea, metabolic syndrome, osteoarthritis, kidney, liver, and heart failure, reproductive problems, and depression, to name a few).
An overweight person may develop diet related diseases such as Heart disease and diabetes.
It depends on how overweight they are. People who are significantly overweight may have issues with high blood pressure, type II diabetes, amenorrhea-loss of period, infertility, sleep apnea-when you stop breathing at night, and more.
