My heart goes out to you. Parents should never hit their child. That said, it unfortunately happens quite often. If your parents continue to hit you, then you must seek outside help. Go to a counselor at school, your minister, relative, if you have a family doctor, speak to him. The important thing is that you must protect yourself and your baby.
I know what kind of feeling arise when this happens as my daughter came to us 4 days ago and told us she was pregnant. She had been provided with a lot of Birth Control and she is over 18 and had been talked to about this many times. We were angry, upset, sadden, frustrated and yes, ashamed and embarrassed by this....well, that gives you an idea what your parents were feeling. I personally wanted to throw up. Yet, we hugged her...told her we would be there for her and told her how sorry we were for her. Still, I am very angry, but not so angry that I would hit her.
Try to forgive your parents for hitting you is if it is a one time thing. More than likely they are feeling pretty guilty for having done it. It is such a shock and trust me, they are frighten for you and themselves. If the abuse continues, you must protect yourself and your baby. God bless you and good luck.
