A female's menstrual period starts between the ages of 8-17. Shortly after puberty, a female will begin to have PMS (pre menstrual syndrome) which is totally normal. Breasts growing, cramps, moodiness, ect. A clear to milky white discharge found in the panties, to help discharge, wear liners. One a month, for about 5 days a girl will bleed out of the vagina. Not normal blood, sometimes brownish, not just red. Wear sanitary pads and tampons during this. The rest of the month is normal, until several weeks pass and her period will start again.
