Q stands for queer, the vast and diverse community of people who have historically been marginalized.

LGBTQ can mean different things to different people. For some, it could simply be a reminder that they are not alone, while others might see it as a political statement or an identity label. In fact, LGBTQ has been interpreted in so many ways over the years that it’s important to remember that there is no one-size-fits-all definition because each individual’s personal understanding is shaped by their life experiences and changing times.

The "Q" in LGBTQ+ is Queer. There is another Q in LGBTQ+, explaining the plus sign but that should be answered in another question.

I love how you put LGBTQ+ because most people just do not bother to do the full name and just put “lgbtq” or “lgbt” and that is disrespectful
