The shooter and the fact it is DA
50-500 usd
No serial number = no answer.
Depending on the exterior condition with pearls, $700.00 to $900.00.
200-2000 depending on the usuals.
DA revolvers have been and are chambered in 357 magnum as have SA revolvers
Needs to be tested using a trigger pull gauge.
6 shot SA/DA revolver chambered in 45 LC
The S&W DA45 revolvers were chambered in 45 ACP as they were made for the war effort and ammo compatability when the 1911 was in short supply. If your particular specimen does not have "U.S. ARMY MODEL 1917" marked on the butt then it was a civilian model. Depending on condition and such, I have seen them bring anywhere from $250 to $600. Hope this helps... Chuck
No....... It is DA/SA. Normally it is DA, but you can pull back the hammer manually and fire SA for better accuracy (reduces some gun movement from DA shooting).
Without a detailed description of all markings, features, caliber/gauge and type of action (SA, DA, BA), there is no way to answer.
Need a detailed description of ALL markings.
