It's either he is too shy to tell you that he likes you and prefers to deny it or he really doesn't like you.
He may just be trying to get you to leave him alone, Because he doesn't like you.
That said, If he really does like you:
Some teenage guys put up a defensive wall of sorts, Around their emotions. They generally will be defensive on the matter of being asked out and such, But if they build up the courage they may take the offensive and ask you out, Or tell you they like you.
