What does it mean when a guy says he cares about you?

Well its pretty straight forward, he cares, I have A ton of bestfriends who are girls and id give my life for any one of them, of course I also have a girlfriend, so there are many different types of caring, I would just ask him what type of.caring he.means.

It most likely means one of two things:

1. He cares about you and wants you to know it.
2. He doesn't really care about you, but he wants you to think he does.

You'll have to attempt to figure out which is true based on his actions.

There's a third possibility: he's an idiot (or possibly simply not fluent in English) and means something completely different, like "My pockets are full of fish." I'm discounting this as distinctly less probable than the first two.
