What does it mean when a guy avoids you?

Well it depends really, if you don't really know the guy and he avoids you and it comes with dirty looks and rude stares, its sorta odviouse..... he doesn't like you chica! and not worth it so move on. But if you know him, and you like him and you sense he kinda likes you too, then he might avoid you cause he likes you to and is either not ready or doesn't want to like you but cant help it :D or he likes you alot! and has to keep his distance so he wont go crazy! But that's in rare cases....
