Airplane mode is enabled in your settings. If airplane mode is not available on your first generation iPod (which it should be, since it is Wi-Fi enabled), then it would be best to turn your iPod off when airplane mode is needed.
It means iPod Touch is not in Airplane mode. (Airplane mode disables all signal emiting and reciving (Bluetooth, Wi-fi)).
I lost my internet but now it is back on. How do i take ipod touch off airplane mode and turn on wi-fii mode
To turn on the iPod airplane mode first open the Settings app. From the list of options select Airplane Mode and toggle the switch to the On position. The airplane mode icon will then appear in the top menu bar of your device. Open the Settings appSelect Airplane ModeToggle the switch to the On positionThe airplane mode icon will appear in the top menu bar
No airplane mode does not save battery lif on an iPod touch. it just disconnects the wi-fi.
go to setting and turn ON the airplane mode
Some older iPod accessories, like FM transmitters, car chargers, and speaker docks, will work with the iPhone if the iPhone is in 'Airplane Mode.' When in Airplane Mode, the iPhone's wireless communication protocols (Bluetooth, WiFi, and EDGE connectivity) are shut down, effectively making the iPhone an iPod only for the duration that it is in Airplane Mode (no incoming/outgoing calls, no internet, no Bluetooth headset connectivity). Not all older iPod accessories are compatible with the iPhone, so as they say, 'your mileage may vary.'
No, because airplane mode disables the wifi so nobody in the plane hacks your itouch or iPhone because you need wifi for these Facebook or other social networks Apps or sites.
the airplane mode is very easy to access. On your home screen, tap settings. tap Wi-Fi, and then slide the bar over so that wi-fi is off. gregory
I have a router that occasionally ignores my iPod. Rebooting the router usually fixes it. If that doesn't work, look to see if you haven't accidentally put the iPod in airplane mode.
Airplane mode?
iPods are only operational up to 10,000 feet. As of now, there is no space setting. But, there is the Airplane mode :)
