The Empire grade Greener is a basic boxlock action side by side. The action is simple and reliable. It is an unadorned gun. I think the Empire Grade was actually manufactured to be sold in the British Empire as a reliable unadorned gun that would not break (double triggers, extractors, etc) and would not need repairs out in the wilds of the British colonies. I own one (32 inch barrels original IC,Mod chokes). They have case colored actions. My gun has quite long action bar (another strengthening feature). Most Empire grades I have seen also have long action bars.
Plants look greener after rain because rain is washing all the dust on the leaves
No. It is not designed to look like a shotgun, nor does it have any resemblance to one. The Barrel Break IX-2 was designed to look like a shotgun, so that would be the closest thing to one.

A shotgun mic is a microphone designed to pick sound from a distance. The are highly directional, rejecting ambient noise and sound from the sides and so has to be pointed at the sound source. Most shotgun mics are long and cylindrical, and so, look like a shotgun barrel. Hence the name.
Actually, the expression is "The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence." It means that something you do not have may look more attractive than what you already have (the grass on YOUR side of the fence)

Red flowers look redder and the leaves would look greener. But the blues in the sky would be blocked.
