When he sees the sick little bot Scooge feels for him and the way that Tiny Tim tries to be positive despite his illness. He feels great concern when the Ghost of Christmas Present tells him that he (the Ghost ) foresees an empty seat by the fire and a lone crutch against the wall be the next Christmas Later when taken back to the Crachit house by the Chost of Christmas Yet To Come Tiny Tim is dead and teh famly moan. This impacts on Scrooge. Thereafter Scrooge helps to care for Tim and acts like an uncle to him
He isn't a blood relation to Scrooge, but the son of Scrooge's secretary Bob Cratchitt. He is paraplegic and of poor health, only being able to walk with the aid of crutches.
During his visitation by the Spirit of Christmas to Come, Scrooge is shown that he has the power to save Tiny Tim's life by paying for his medical bills, but if he fails, the child will die. Scrooge sees a vision of Tim lying dead in his bed, with Bob Cratchitt in tears and Mrs. Cratchitt cursing Scrooge for refusing to help out.

At the end of the play "A Christmas Carol," Scrooge provides financial support for the Cratchit family by raising Bob Cratchit's salary, ensuring Tiny Tim receives proper medical care, and becoming a generous, caring employer overall. Finally the Ghost shows him his own headstone in the churchyard.

On Christmas Eve, Ebenezer Scrooge makes his clerk, Bob Cratchit, work in the cold, throws out two businessmen who ask for a donation to help the poor and tells Fred his Nephew that he is a fool for marrying for love no money. At his home he is visited by the ghost of his old business partner, Jacob Marley.The Ghost of Christmas Past wakes Scrooge and shows him moments from his childhood, his apprenticeship and his failed engagement to Belle. The Ghost of Christmas Present takes him to the Cratchit's home, where he is saddened by the ill, but kindly, Tiny Tim. He is also shown how Fred celebrates Christmas with friends and how others celebrate Christmas together. The final spirit is the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come who terrifies Scrooge with visions of his own, lonely death. Ebenezer begs forgiveness and makes a solemn oath to change is ways and keep Christmas in his heart forever more. Scrooge awakes on Christmas Day and is delighted to find he has the chance to repent . He buys a huge turkey for the Cratchits and attends his nephew's party where he begs forgiveness for his attitude. Scrooge becomes like a uncle to Tiny Tim Cratchit and gains a reputation for knowing how to celebrate Christmas and keep Christmas in his hearth for ever after .
