It could be the maker of the shotgun, the name of the store that sold it, the name of the person who made the barrels, etc..
Belgian made, most likely in the last 100 years.

I have a double barrel shotgun that says, Premier Arms, Belgium. Laminated Steel. Identifing numbers are 36959 with AJ , P and GO marked on it. I've been told it's more than 100 years old. Would like to know as much as possible. Dave Boots
ELG is a mark of Henri Pieper of Belgium mid to late 1800s and the diamond with the number 12 is a 12 ga look for a letter P or H or HP maybee Cie as well
You can remove the ong barrel from the Gamo P-25 Tactical although that will not make the barrel shorter.

I have found out that P. Streignard was a Firearms maker in Liege Belgium during the years 1820 through 1840. He specialized in finely engraved and incise carved Percussion pistols.
