while they are going out, become friends with him/her. I mean, like really close friends. Don't go too fast though. Just slowly get to know each other. Later they will break up and you will be her/his next choice.
Yeah i did it and they both my best friends but i was going out with him but he just made exuses to get back with her.I never wanted 2 like him again but i can't help it!
