Don't do that. It will not only not help you get over that person but also puts your health at risk. The first thing is to get support. So friends, family etc.
Go do some fun things with them such as activities like paintballing, or clubbing or go-karting or even shopping if you're a girl. Fun things that will take your mind of this person and lighten your mood.
Excercise also helps as it realises endorphonies (not spelt that right, sorry) that will put you in a better mood.
And then, when you're ready go find someone else. There are good girls/boys out there that can love you, that you will meet but don't be scared. That's the most important thing.
But remember, it does get better and you will meet someone better. Keep that in mind and show this person that you are fine without them! xx
