If you really like him, than who cares if he cheated on you. Always be forgiving. That is the key to a good relationship.
But if he doesn't want to be with you anymore and he was just using you, then break up with him because he obviously doesn't deserve you. It may take a while but eventually you will be able to forgive him. Just avoid him. But if he tries to talk to you, don't be mean or hateful. Act like nothing happened and just go on with your life, because if he sees he has upset you, he will feed off of it. Trust me. I've been through it.
