Well impress him or give him the signs to see if he likes you instead. If he does, go for it. If he doesn't, he doesn't deserve you for liking another girl instead of you. Stay away from him if you want so that way you won't feel bad or your feelings will or could get hurt. So just be friends with him or just stay away for a little while to think for a little bit.

It's important to respect his decision and move on. Focus on yourself and your own well-being, and remember that there are plenty of other people out there who will appreciate you. It's better to invest your time and energy into someone who reciprocates your feelings.
