Human. We all misjudge all the time. We ALL judge ALL THE TIME. It's genetically embedded behavior. Some of us can recognize and inhibit any actions that may result from the immediate judgment.

Depending on the context, there are a number of things to call people who misjudge other people. In general, you can call them human since we all do this at some point or another. But more specifically, they may be as follows:

Prejudiced: If you misjudge others due to preconceived nothings and stereotypes, then you are prejudiced. Stereotyping is another term.

Infatuated: Sometimes, if a person is infatuated with another, they may misjudge them by ignoring their shortcomings. They can only feel the emotions and may overlook serious problems with the other person. It isn't that a person turns into an alcoholic or spouse abuser, it is just that their partner failed to notice such things early enough, usually out of being blinded by emotions. A conman may charm a woman to get the chance to rob her over a period of weeks or months.

Judgmental: This is related to prejudice, but this a bit broader. Since you would have knee-jerk responses, you would likely be wrong about others a lot.

Resentful: If you misjudge someone who has changed in some way, then it could be that you are holding a grudge or don't trust the person.

Unsympathetic: Or even lacking in empathy. You may jump to conclusions since you fail to factor in the person's specific needs or circumstances. It is easy to jump to conclusions about a medical condition or mental health condition and blame the person and say things that are beyond their control is their own fault.
