Plugging in your iPod Touch doesn't unlock the iPod. To unlock the iPod Touch (that doesn't require a password), click the home button and slide the on-screen button to the right.
If your Ipod Touch screen isn't working, try connecting it to iTunes and restore it. If that doesn't work, take it in to the apple store to have it fixed or replaced.
Openappmkt for iPod touch
take it to the store you got it from, or a nearby apple store if they cant fix it, you are stuffed.
buy an IPOD
. The iPod touch 4G is slightly longer than the previous iPod touch 3G
you have to go to itunes to register your ipod, to create an apple account and to enter credit card/bank information so you can fully unlock the ipod. you can register the ipod and create your apple account, that will unlock the ipod but without your credit card info you wont be able to access the app store. they wont charge a dime unless you actually buy something.
It's probally because your iPod touch is in shut down mode. To unlock it, you have to hold your home screen button and on/off (wake/sleep) button at the same time, by pressing them together, wait until it shows the "apple sign" then wait a few minutes than it will unlock.

Well it depends on what kind of iPod it is.If it is an iPod nano or iPod Classic, you just press any button on the iPod, if it does not come on, then make sure it is charged up and that the iPod is not locked. If it is an iPod Touch, then you have to press and hold the button on the top right of the iPod. It should light up and show on the screen slide to unlock, then you touch the screen and you slide the bar to unlock the iPod. If it does not come on, then make sure it is charged up.If your iPod does not work for some reason, then take it to your local Apple store. If there are no Apple stores nearby, then go and ask someone at a Best Buy Store.
try charging it or connecting it to itune
it might be dead.
my does the same thing, and it wont stay on either
