I know only 2 differences.

  1. the mosquito has 4 stages in its life cycle while the grasshopper has 3 stages in its life cycle.

  2. the young of the grasshopper resembles the adult while the young of the mosquito does not resemble the adult.

( for the second answer i am sure that not many people use it for their answers. If the question states for 2 differences these are the 2 differences :D)
