yes they did or do.... I have one that is stamped Model 1700 on the side of the shotgun. I purchased the shotgun back in 2001. It's not much different from the Model 1300. The only thing I can see is different is how the bottom tube is mounted and the low bead site is fluorescent. I'll get back to verify this....
