It varies between people. Cramps, stomach-ache, and loss of appetite are a few common symptoms. Other people can have mood swings, head-aches, and (rarely) random vomiting.
some girls experience cramping in their abdomen and/or slight nausea. many girls have no symptoms before their period and it can kind of catch you by surprise! Another answer: most girls cry at everything the week before and then the next week it just happens! so if that is not thecase ,which that is not always the case, it happens just out of the bloom!
About two weeks before your get it you might feel reeeally crampy. Thats what happened to me. You also might feel moody and tired. I would take some pads to school with u and b prepared.
