one con: for a civiilian, it is very expensive to own a machine gun. You can only legally own machine guns made before May 1986, so they are very expensive to purchase. A really cheap crappy one will run you several thousand dollars, then there is a $200 tax stamp fee, and it takes about 3-4 months to be approved.
