First see the similarity :

Cranberry is a small tart berry growing on bushes, used in jams also.

So is Karaunda.

Differences :

Cranberry grows in cold countries, it is little bitter also, it is red coloured, usually consumed in juice form, not grown in India, called Karand or Kheet in Hindi.

While Karaunda is not bitter, grows in warm arid areas of Indian subcontinent, is dual coloured- white with pink hue, used in Indian cuisine and childern's favourite, not as juice. Its English name is also Karaunda. An another variety Jungli Karaunda, a soft sweet black berry is Known as Conkerberry in English.
