While fruits are "safer" than sodas and french fries, as fruits have less calories, making it more difficult to over eat, it's still a question of what and how much, and it's still entirely possible to overeat on fruit.
Apart from differences in calorie content, which can make some fruits "safer" than others, there are no fruits that have any particular effect on weight loss.
