Cnidarians differ from mollusks because mollusks are defined as Bivalves. They are called Bivalves because they have two shells. Cnidarians such as Jelly Fish do not have shells which define a bivalve (mollusks).

Echinoderms are animals that are spiny skinned like:starfish, sea cucumbers, sea urchins, sand dollars, and brittle stars.

Mollusks are animals with very soft bodies, like cephalopods: squid, octopi, cuttlefish, gastropods: snails and slugs, and bivalves: clams, oyster, mussels, scallops, cockles.
