Jonas from The Giver is not in the book.
The Giver is the first book in the series, followed by Gathering Blue, Messenger, and Son.
According to Lois Lowry, Gathering Blue and the Messenger follow the Giver. They take place in the same type of universe, but do not use the same characters. But Jonas from the Giver appears in the Messenger.
Messenger is really good! It is a mixture of the characters in Gathering Blue and the Giver (mainly Matt). I forget what the plot is exactly, but I know that the characters in this book have powers and yeah. Anyways it's really good and I recommend reading it.
No, but there is a partner-novel called "Gathering Blue".
The prequel to "The Giver" by Lois Lowry is "The Messenger." It is the third book in "The Giver Quartet" series, following "Gathering Blue" and preceding "Son." "The Messenger" explores different aspects of the community introduced in "The Giver."
I think there are 23 chapters in the book. There is 23 chapters.
The same place "The Giver" takes place: A"utopian" society read the trilogy
Lois Lowry is a very famous author who wrote The Giver, Gathering Blue, and many more.
Personally I liked The Giver better, but Gathering Blue was okay too. The Giver just seemed to make more sense and go more smoothly. That's my personal oppinion though and others might think other wise.
The other three books in "The Giver" series are "Gathering Blue," "Messenger," and "Son" by Lois Lowry. Each book explores different characters and settings within the same dystopian world as "The Giver."
