Another good gift would be shoes, which can also be used everyday. Another great gift is a gift card to Toys R Us or any other toy store. Basically, anything useful for the family would be an excellent present.

∙ 11y agoAt a year old she won't know she is having a birthday nor understand what a gift means. Get her something you can keep to give to her when she is older. I know some cultures give a gold necklace to the baby so they can have it the rest of their life.
