When a girl starts her first menstrual period, she may be unsure of what to do. Hopefully, she has a female relative who will have feminine hygiene products available. If not, she may substitute toilet paper or a towel until she is able to get her parents to buy some maxi pads for her.

! Well there is really no exact time to starting your period. Some people have started at 9 years of age and some start at 15 years of age. But when you do start your period you have to expect cramps, mood swings, loss of blood (i think you knew about that part) etc. And dont think anything is wrong with just because you havent started your period, because the longer you dont start your period the better! Im not trying to freak anyone out but although periods are natural they suck! So be happy you arent on yours!
