Cost, caliber and maker.
The Sierra Six looks like a ruger single six- or a colt peacemaker. Basically it looks like any pistol you would see on an old western movie. A good- low cost shooter....
The date of manufacture for a Walther PP is found at the right side of the pistol, stamped on the barrel, at the ejection port. There is is a symbol of authenticity that looks like an elk's antler. The date is located just to the left of that mark
It looks like a German Luger. No, its a Walther LP 53 Air Pistol. It looks a bit like a cross between a Luger and a P38 both of which were German Pistols. It is, however, a completely different firearm and was never issued by the German Military.
A large revolver

Halo Reach's pistol is as good as the DMR, but its not as accurate and has more recoil. The pistol looks like Halo 3's pistol, fires like Halo 2's pistol, and has a zoom like Halo Combat Evolved's pistol.
Looks like a S&W sn for an auto pistol.
