One of the differences between Protestants and Catholics is the way they view bread and wine during religious services. Catholics believe that the bread and wine actually turns into the body and blood of Christ. Protestants believe it stays bread and wine and only represents Christ.

One difference is Catholics pray to Mary, and they ask her to speak to him on their behalf. But this ought not to be. The Holy Spirit in us makes intercessions for us as well as Christ. Romans 8:26-34

The main difference between Protestants and Catholics lies in their beliefs about authority and salvation. Protestants believe in the authority of The Bible alone, while Catholics believe in the authority of both the Bible and church tradition. Additionally, Protestants emphasize salvation through faith alone, while Catholics believe in faith and good works for salvation.
