Still available from Browning.
SORRY THE SERIAL NUMBER IS WRONG AND AFTER DOING MORE RESEARCH I REALIZE THE SECOND DIGIT IS AN "S" NOT A 5. THE BROWNING WEBSITE HAS NOT HELPED BECAUSE I CAN NOT FIND SWEET 16 IN THE RESEARCH AREA. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY CLUE TO FIND THIS INFO.
500 or so
500-1000
I believe the answer is 1960. Still looking for confirmation that 1960 is the correct answer.
if its mint and unfired it could go for $1500 or more
Multiple thousands. How many depends on the specifics. Range of 2-10K
Not having the box hurts, since you really cant call it new without it. Still $1000-$1400.
$500-$800. Provided it's still in original condition. No pads or poly chokes
Value is too difficult to be accurate without seeing the gun. Condition which includes the amount of original finish and original configuration will determine value. Part of the Fusion Value will include the special Fusion Case if it is still available. Recommend taking it to a gun shop for appraisal.
In order to answer your question accurately,Iwould need to know if you have the Browning model side by side, grade I,or Grade II(satin greyed steel receiver).Do you have the Browning side by side sporter,or sporter grade II.Or the Browning side by side sidelock model? Also the overall condition of your shotgun(percentage of original finish remaining). Serial number isn't legible but it still remains in good condition. Royal Steel. My grandfather used it a lot pheasant hunting. It has more sentimental value than monetary value to me. Aside from the damaged stock, the gun still has a large percentage of its original finish.
Up to 1975. A few were still made in Belgium in 1976 when A5 production shifted to Japan.
