Imported by Armscor. Relatively low values, $250-$350, depending on exact model and condition.
I believe these were made by ARMSCOR in the Philippines. Prices are relatively low, running ABOUT $350-$450.
Made in 1911. Please note- Rock Island Model 1903s below serial number 285507 are considered by many to have a major safety problem with heat treatment of the steel in the receiver, and should not be fired. There are different opinions on this both ways by respected gun historians. Myself- I would not shoot it.
Fine
Neither one. Series 70 and 80 models are Colt designations for theircommercial variations.A Rock Island 45 would be a little more like a 70 series ,but it is really a base 1911 A1 style pistol.
