Are humans born good?

In my opinion, humans are born neither good nor bad. Figuratively speaking, we start out as a blank canvas. We come into this world knowing nothing and then further complicate and challenge our intelligence as we grow older. It is up to the care of our parents or guardians, our environment, to inflict goodness upon us from the very start. So in a way, that should mean that humans at least start off as good people. It is also possible that, due to natural selection and genetic inheritance, people could be born with a tendency to favor empathy and compassion, because it is often considered a desirable trait when choosing a mate. I think it is without doubt that the Human is born Innocent. Manifestly therefore if one is innocent then Guilt is not, cannot, be a factor.

It is important to recognize that humans have the capacity for both good and bad behavior, and nurturing positive traits can help prevent the development of malice.
