I am no expert on nutrition by any means, but I have studied and researched it as a weight-lifter and body-builder...and that's most of my life. The question is highly subjective, meaning that lots of authorities will have lots of different opinions, but I'm the one answering the question here right now. I favor 40% protein, 40% carbohydrate, and 20% fat for the human body. Please remember that if you consume more calories than you burn, you will gain weight. Even if your food consumption works out to a perfect 40/40/20, like I describe above.
In a balanced diet 45-65% of the diet should come from carbohydrates, 20-35% of the diet should come from fats, and 10-35% of the diet should come from protein.
The bulk of my diet was pizza.
Does cellulose provide bulk in the diet
300000%
Triglycerides
Please clarify your question. As in, the bulk of what?
It depends on the reference, but usually no more than 55% of your diet should come from carbohydrates.
Carbohydrates are the nutrient that provides energy for the body. Fiber is the nutrient that provides bulk in the diet and supports healthy digestion.
The diet of the Roman gladiator was grain based. He was given meat and veggies, but for the most part the grain/bean diet was eaten as this was the type of food that would make him bulk up.The diet of the Roman gladiator was grain based.
