The question is highly subjective, meaning that lots of authorities will have lots of different opinions, but I'm the one answering the question here right now. I favor 40% protein, 40% carbohydrate, and 20% fat for the human body. Please remember that if you consume more calories than you burn, you will gain weight. Even if your food consumption works out to a perfect 40/40/20, like I describe above.
