Sims 3 ambitions error during start up?

thair always seems to be errors when trying to start up any of The Sims 3 games i had the game one's and when the disk was in i clicked on the game icon on my desktop and it said something about startup of game and it also said a error code i just think it is the sims 3 and all it expansion pack's because i heared that the same thing happenes on ambitions and fast lane. it's a nusance when you bought the game and then hope to play on it and it dont work.
