It depends on your style.
If you are not big on games, and like to listen to around 500 songs or less, have very few videos, and do not really like to keep photos on your iPod Touch, then get the 8 gigabyte iPod Touch.
If you are big on apps, games, etc., and have well over 1000 songs in your current music player (or computer), love listening to music all of the time, like to watch many movies on your iPod Touch, and keep hundreds of pictures on it, then go for the 32 gigabyte.
It's all about what you need and what suits you best.
