In seventh grade "dating" is in school. Well it is for me. You aren't really going out on dinner dates and what not. I'm in seventh grade and I have a boyfriend. We talk in school, text each other and meet at school dances. We slow dance for like five seconds and hold hands but that is it. We don't really see each other out of school. You might go to like their Basketball, Baseball, etc. games but that is the closet you should be getting to a date in seventh grade. You should not be kissing and if my boyfriend ever tried to kiss me I would back away and tell him I wasn't ready. So "dating" in seventh grade is not like real dating. I know like parents think that is what it is but it's not. We don't have "grown up" relationships.
you can i had a boyfriend in 7th grade. i think if you like the person you can go out with them even if other people are saying you can't. just a note when you go out with someone and you are younger it is usually just so you can say "i have a girlfriend/boyfriend". you USUALLY don't go on dates.

Dating in seventh grade can be complicated because students are still young and may not yet have the emotional maturity to handle a romantic relationship. It's important to prioritize school, friendships, and personal growth during this time. It's okay to have crushes, but it might be better to wait until you're a bit older before getting into serious relationships.
