Understanding court testimony prepares students for careers in the criminal justice system as they may be required to provide testimonies as expert witnesses. It enhances their critical thinking skills by analyzing legal procedures and evidence presentation in court. It provides practical knowledge on how legal concepts are applied in real-life situations, giving students a well-rounded perspective on the justice system.
i strongly agree that detention should not be a punishment in schools, because if you want time off from looking after students i suggest you shoulnt have detention as a punishment.
Repeated stealing is a serious offense and can create a harmful environment for other students. If the student has not responded to previous interventions or shown progress in changing their behavior, a permanent exclusion may be necessary to prioritize the safety and well-being of the school community.
Students can combat prejudice, discrimination, and violence by educating themselves about different cultures and perspectives, speaking out against injustices when they witness them, promoting inclusion and diversity within their community, and actively supporting initiatives and organizations that work towards equality and peace. By actively engaging in these actions, students can help create a more tolerant and compassionate society.
Gangs have become an increasing alarm to our societies because they tempt young students to believe this fantasy of glory and power within this harsh social conflict. I strongly encourage uniforms in schools and discourage students to wear gang related shirts or colors because they're promoting violence and the fantasized "coolness" of wearing these shirts. It's almost as if wearing them creates emphasis on them and makes them feel more powerful. If a student is troubled and disagrees with wearing them then it must be that they promote it because someone who doesn't care about what their shirt reflects wouldn't care about not wearing them. Even if this was a freedom of expression argument, one must be aware that even in a nation where freedom of expression is a strong foundation one cannot state nor do as one pleases, there are boundaries in which to follow.
Impress on them that in the end they are cheating only their own interests, not those of the school etc. Warn that cheating will be punished by automatic disqualification - and act on that warning.
Yes.
To "help" them concentrate on their studies and get better grades
Students should be blamed for examination malpractice because cheating goes against ethical principles and the values of honesty and integrity. By engaging in malpractice, students undermine the credibility of their education and academic achievements. Additionally, cheating creates an unfair advantage over peers who work hard and study honestly.
they should be punished because they are cowards and wether they bully mentally or physically it is wrong!!
because they failed and they would have a very hard time with the next term. If anything, they should attend summer school.
I would recommend skirting the issue and calling it "Daily Student Register". Failing that, it's "Daily Students' Register"
