Sometimes people use Christmas outdoor lighted decorations for Halloween because they are versatile, like the white lights. However, it is quite tacky to use decorations like reindeer/Santas so I advise against that.
The never paint will never harden, mostly stay tacky
There's no need to paint them they are available in a number of different colors and the painted one would look tacky next to one of the colored ones
You can't go wrong with a string of white lights. They are extremely versatile, and have a classic look that never looks dated. You can get them in a string of singles or in an icicle style. I always look at wreaths or any sort of floral. Those types of things are sooo overpriced, but if you can get them at an after-Christmas sale, you can get some really good deals. And yes, I'd say lights too... just make sure they're not those LED ones which tend to not last from year to year. Keep it simple and clean not cluttered. find a theme either all white lights with a wreath and red bow have a flood light shining on the wreath. It's simple clean and not cluttered. The ridiculously over-sized outdoor blow up frosty's and/or santa's, although my cats are petrified of them. Oh my god, whatever you do, STAY AWAY from those ridiculous snow globe things, and the silly festive flags. The definition of Tacky.
Example tacky sentence with proper nouns (in bold):If a fat man puts you in a bag one night, don't worry, I told Santa that I wanted you for Christmas.
You cannot paint over slightly tacky latex paint with a water based polycyclic finish. You should always wait until the latex paint is thoroughly dry before painting over it.
Never apply a coating over a surface that hasn't fully cured. If the stain is "tacky" then it either has been applied way too thick for a penetrating stain, it was applied in high humidity, or it has not been allowed to dry sufficiently. Either allow sufficient time for the stain to dry, or if it's just not drying, remove the stain and reapply under the correct conditions before applying a clear coat.
Are you asking if it's tacky to tell your friend you want to up her spending limit by giving her extra money? If so, YES that's really tacky, don't do it.
I don't believe you can put latex paint over an oil base. it will never dry and will always be tacky
The use of tinsel on Christmas trees is not explicitly illegal in California. Some cities may have regulations on the type of materials that can be used for holiday decorations due to environmental concerns or fire hazards. It's recommended to check with local authorities for specific rules in your area.
