My iPod touch has just a black screen and i cant get it to turn on. How do I get it out of this?

Hold down the "Home and Sleep" buttons for about 10-15 seconds, then release the "Sleep" button and hold the home button until the apple logo sign comes up. This will not damage your iPod Touch at all.
This way ismt working for my ipod touch, do u have any other ideas?
