That's up to your best friend to explain to her that your his friend and that is not going to change... but judging by the wording of the question I am going to assume that you are a female with a male for a best friend. In that case you got to be prepared. If he cares for this woman, you may find him pushing you to the way side. If he gets really serious with her, it may be the end of your friendship... being a woman, you should understand that roughly 90% of females cannot handle their man hanging out with another woman. Sorry to tell you that but its the truth... and I know it hurts but you will move on
