I have my 12 guage shotgun with hammer and lever with serial no. 15143 Company EM Reilly and co Oxford Street london, i have kept it for my self defense, now i want to know present value of this shotgun and history of the same gun.
There is a takedown latch (lever) under the forearm. Pull it down, then remove the forearm from the barrels by pivoting away. Carefully slide the lever on top to release the barrels in the usual manner of breaking the barrels open. The barrels can then be lifted off the lug from the frame as you break the action open.
There should be a screw or release lever under the forearm of the gun. Once you release that you should be able to remove the barrel.
There is no lever under the loading gate. There is an ejection rod alongside the barrel.
John Moses Browning. The Browning Superposed was the first practicle over, under shotgun
This is a double barrel, over/under shotgun.
Check under the top lever.
If your over under shotgun was made prior to 1964,then the model of your Browning shotgun should be named the superposed.
Impossible to answer without knowing who made it, what caliber/gauge, overall condition, barrel length, type of weapon (rifle, handgun, shotgun) and type of action (bolt, lever, over/under, semi-auto)
The Relese lever is on the left hand side under the glove compartment.
He can buy a shotgun, but, it is legally his until you turn 18
