It's always important to take things slow in a relationship and let things move at a comfortable pace for the both of you. Now that he's kind of scared away I think it would be best to let him be for awhile. When you think that his little fear has dissapeared you may proceed to move back in again and if you do get the opportunity to be with him make sure you don't rush things. Just go with the flow and let things progress on their own.
