The Omega is sometimes considered an "intermediate" level trumpet, providing a stepping stone between a beginner horn and a Stradivarius professional trumpet. Basically, the Omega model will be a good trumpet for an advanced student who is ready to "move on" from their first trumpet, but may not be willing to spend the money for a professional quality trumpet.
