Step 1: Tell your friends that with the particular activity you are performing, you are uneducated and that it is your first time. They will be more than willing to accomadate you and help you be successful at the task set out before you.
On an unrelated point, if you're worried about what your friends are going to think about you or how they are going to treat you for not being an expert drug-user, then you might want to consider a change of direction in your life and make new friends.
