Its a refurbished pistol's from Tanay, Rizal Philippines by Floro Manufacturing. a selected surplus 1911a1 from Vietnam, or any US Allied government issued firearms. Including Viper 1911a1 and Viper 9mm, a Tokarev suprlus models from Russia and China. They just changed the name into Viper and Federal. They also manufactures paper materials now.

Field stripping any Model 1911 A1 45 military pistol is the same no matter the manufacture. Rather than try to tell you, here is an excellent link to a video showing how it is done. It is very simple if done correctly. I also own the exact same pistol as yours and treasure it. Mine was made in 1917.

No it's not necessary, but any good instructor will tell you two hands make you more steady than one. A good pistol stance is to hold the pistol in one hand and place your other hand underneath your pistol hand to help steady it while shooting
