yes it actually is.... see they make a special liquid to put the lightbulb in for a couple of hours. I'm not at liberty to say what's in the liquid, but it has a special ingredient to make the glass and surebrial inside the bulb edible. The light can either be eaten whole or chewed in pieces. The only thing fake about the Grinch eating the light bulb is that it doesnt make a loud sound, in fact it doesn't make any sound at all. They used sound effects for that. That's how they make the lightbulb scene so real, because it is :)
