Only Santa and his elves know. Firstly consider the area as a stage set. The are should have tables (work benches) where part build toys are placed, then and area where finished toy are placed in rows, basically as youd see in a shop or store. Use childrens toy hammers, saws etc to add to the impression of a work shop. build in small windows and dress these with cotton wool or fake spray on snow across the cill areas so that the person looking at them feels that there is real snow there. Use highly bright toys and colours aroud the area - This adds atmosphere to the setting. Place a Christmas tree in view, it does not have to be large just visable, make some boxes up with Christmas wrapping on and place these in stacks, again to give the impression of a production. Dress any persons in Elf style costums to add that effect of "Santa little helpers". If you wish to go further add sound effects of knocking and banging - work shop syle, even childrens Christmas music playing gently can add to the atmosphere.
